High-purity silver nitrate for analytical, photographic, electrochemical and synthetic use. The standard precursor for silver nanoparticles, silver halide chemistry, Tollens' reagent, argentometric titration (Mohr, Volhard, Fajans), silvering of mirrors and silver electroplating baths. Silver acetate is a white to grey-white crystalline solid, moderately soluble in water, used as a soluble silver source and mild oxidant in organic synthesis: decarboxylative and oxidative couplings, acetoxylation, silver-catalysed cycloadditions of azomethine ylides, halide abstraction from metal complexes and the preparation of silver(I) N-heterocyclic carbene complexes. It is also the silver precursor in reactive silver inks and antimicrobial coatings. Approximately 64.6% silver by mass; supplied with a lot-specific assay and certificate of analysis.

Silver chloride is a white, water-insoluble, photosensitive solid that darkens on exposure to light. It is the active layer of Ag/AgCl reference electrodes and pH and ion-selective reference systems, a light-sensitive component of photographic emulsions and photochromic glass, an infrared-transmitting window material, and an antimicrobial agent in coatings and textiles. Approximately 75.3% silver by mass; supplied as a free-flowing powder with lot-specific assay.

Particle-size distribution and apparent density are reported on the certificate of analysis for each lot.
