• Standard courier (2–5 working days)
• Express courier (1–2 working days)
• Dangerous-goods courier (DHL / UPS DG, 2–4 working days) — required for dangerous goods.

Ireland: €12.00 per order. EU and Northern Ireland: €25.00 per order. Express adds €15.00. Rates exclude VAT and are shown before you pay.

Dangerous goods

Oxidisers and corrosives such as silver nitrate, gold(III) chloride and chloroplatinic acid are classified as dangerous goods (ADR / IATA). These items must travel with a licensed dangerous-goods courier, carry UN-specification packaging and a handling surcharge, shown on the product page and at checkout. Non-regulated products such as palladium(II) acetate ship by standard courier.

VAT

Prices are shown excluding VAT. Irish VAT at 23% is added for Irish customers and for consumers anywhere in the EU. Businesses in other EU member states and Northern Ireland that supply a valid VAT number (validated live against the EU VIES register at checkout; Northern Ireland numbers carry the XI prefix) are invoiced with the reverse charge at 0% VAT.

Purchase orders

Universities, institutes and companies may choose “pay by invoice” at checkout. We issue a pro forma invoice immediately and dispatch on receipt of payment (30-day terms). Card payments dispatch as soon as the lot is packed.

Returns

Chemicals are non-returnable once shipped. Damaged or incorrect deliveries are replaced; see the terms of sale.
